Terms and conditions
The terms for using PrintScout to compare printers, send enquiries or list a printing business.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use printscout.co.uk as a customer or as a listed printer. By using the site you agree to them.
What PrintScout is
PrintScout is a comparison and listing website. It shows information about participating UK printing companies, who pay a monthly subscription to be listed. It does not list every printer, and a listing is not a recommendation.
PrintScout does not print anything, and it is not a party to any order between you and a printer.
Prices and information
Prices, options, delivery times and business details are supplied by printers. We never guess a price. Where no price is available, we show "Check price with printer". Ratings come from public review sources.
We try to keep information accurate but can't guarantee it. Always confirm the final price, specification and delivery with the printer before you order.
Enquiries and orders
Sending an enquiry through PrintScout doesn't commit you to ordering or paying anything. If you go ahead, you order and pay the printer directly, on their terms.
The printer is solely responsible for the printing service, including quality, artwork checks, delivery, refunds and complaints. Your consumer rights against the printer are not affected.
Artwork you upload
Only upload artwork you have the right to use. It is passed to the printer handling your enquiry for that job only.
Printers
Listed printers must keep their prices, options, delivery estimates and business details accurate and up to date, and must respond to enquiries promptly and honestly. Listings are only shown once approved. We may refuse, suspend or remove a listing that is misleading or breaks these terms.
Subscriptions are monthly with no long-term contract and can be cancelled at any time.
Our liability
PrintScout isn't responsible for the acts, omissions, prices or work of any printer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
